*IMPORTANT NOTE - Learners are given until 1st September 2017 to submit all assessments for this qualification to allow time for assessment. Karl Dyble Pty Ltd (Trading as Advantage Training Australia) will not be permitted to issue TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualifications after 5th October 2017 as TAE40110 has been superseded by TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. We do not have TAE40116 on scope and will be unable to offer bridging or upgrade courses from TAE40110.
You can study TAE40110 (Certificate IV TAE) by online study or via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
This option allows you to study at your own pace at home or work and is backed up by email and telephone support from 8am to 6pm seven days a week.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) means that you have demonstrated the required skills and knowledge for one or more units of this course in the workplace and can provide documentary evidence to support this.
Ideal candidates for RPL are learners who have planned, delivered and assessed training as part of their duties as a trainer, trainer and assessor, course facilitator or other job role in which training and assessment form a portion of their duties. Graduates of this qualification will be those who intend to plan, deliver and assess training products related to Vocational Education Training (VET). This means that the training and assessment services that you conduct will be related to the skills and knowledge required to perform work related tasks and functions, hence the inclusion of the term ‘vocational’.
If it is your intention to deliver any element of the Australian Quality Training Framework such as single units of competency or full qualifications e.g. Certificate IV or Diploma or accredited courses you will be required to hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as a minimum as well as vocational experience and qualifications in the relevant subject area.
Potential job roles following the successful completion of this course and award of your qualification will be those directly or partially related to delivering training and assessing competence in the area of Vocational Education and Training.
Some examples of these job roles can include trainer, assessor or trainer and assessor and training and educational support and advisory roles for a range of clients such as Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) or private enterprise.

You must be at least 18 years of age, able to use Microsoft Word proficiently and be able to read, write and speak English well. You will require a laptop or PC with Microsoft Word and Adobe Reader installed to complete the assessments.
Please note there are three practical training sessions which will need to be delivered to three different groups (at least two people per group) and recorded (video), this can either be in your actual workplace or you can simulate a workplace using family, friends, colleagues, club members etc. Recording these sessions is mandatory. Please do not enrol onto this course if you are unable or unwilling to submit the video recordings. You will need to have access to and work with at least six other people in order to complete the practical components of this course.
