I enrolled in the Cert IV in WHS in early December and am over half way through already  (6/9 modules completed).  I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your training style.  I have completed many training courses over the years and most have been very dry and boring.  Your approach is interesting and thorough and most importantly I’m learning a lot.  I’m finding each module takes about 5-6 hours so I’m dedicating one afternoon a weekend and it has not been a  chore at all.   Thank you for your easy to read materials and the explanatory You tube tutorials.  I’m already looking at what course I can do next!

I hold qualifications in OHS at Diploma level and have worked as an OHS Consultant for the past 10  years but now believe that it is time for me to gain a  higher   and  more  current qualification. After speaking with Karl Dyble _ CEO Jumbo Safety and Training,  I decided to complete the 5 core units of the WHS Diploma and then proceed to the WHS Advance Diploma.

Although early days, I must admit that I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the learning resources and level of support that I have received from Jumbo Safety and Training. The Learner’s Guide is well structured concise and easy to read. 
Two prominent things that I have noticed with this learning resource are:

– the material “cuts-straight-to-the-chase” without the “Waffle” or  “padding” that is often contained in distance learning resources

-the material provides strong links to previous concepts and provides a clear pathway and preview on  what is to come.

While these two points may seem simplistic, believe me when you are studying by distance education you don’t want to be  continually asking yourself “what is the point” ‘how does this link to what I have just read”  and “where is this leading?”

Again, although only several weeks into my study I honestly think that I have made a good decision in choosing to study with Jumbo Safety and Training.  I am looking forward to working my way through the Advance Diploma and gaining this highly-sought-after qualification

I recently completed my Certificate IV in work health and safety during the five day face to face delivery and then completed my Diploma in work health and safety online. Karl was an excellent trainer delivering the content at a level and pace that suited the students. He related content to industry examples which assisted in our understanding and as a whole I had a great experience with jumbo safety. The online course was easy to follow at my own pace and the learner guide and additional learning material that was provided gave me all the information that I required. The delivery of your Certificate IV WHS qualification course is obviously based on a thorough and sound bedrock of knowledge, full of real life examples.

The Learner Guide, Assessment Workbook and resource files you have thoughtfully provided contain a wealth of ‘go to‘ supporting documents’ that could provide a perfect office ‘bible’ for anyone interested in WHS on ANY worksite.

Not content with an off the shelf generic set of guides, you have put a great deal of effort designing your course delivery and assembling all essential knowledge in to a comprehensive training guide and set of go-to references.

Your suite of learning materials is unique and so well done ( especially incorporating clustering of the final unit). Indeed a very well considered, bespoke course. I’ve been on a few different courses from a few different providers and this one has to be best I’ve been on. The Trainer really knew his stuff and used relevant examples to get his point accross. The course materials are great and ready like a well written book. It’s not easy for me to fit training in and Jumbo helped me to make it easy for me to study the Health and Safet Diploma. They asked me when i was available and almost created a course just for me, to suit my dates and location preference. I’d definitely recommend Jumbo Safety & Training to anyone who is tired of other training companies and their boring courses. this was fun and so useful to my job. I learned things I didn’t know and received a qualification very soon after completing my assessments. What more can you want from a course?
